AYUL ACUÑA CARDENAS

I was born and raised in Urubamba, in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Cusco, Peru. Surrounded by stunning landscapes and living traditions, I developed from an early age a deep appreciation for my heritage and the wisdom of my ancestors.

After graduating from the University of Cusco, I began a rewarding journey as a professional tour guide — a vocation that has now spanned more than two decades. Throughout these years, I have had the privilege of meeting travelers from all over the world, building lasting friendships, and learning as much from them as they have from me.

What inspires me most is sharing the spirit of my culture from our ancient Inca heritage and sacred sites to the creativity, art, and warmth of our people. I’m passionate about helping visitors truly connect with Peru: its landscapes, its traditions, and the heart of its people.
